PERMANENT SUPPORTED HOUSING PROGRAM
Nortex Regional Planning Commission is the
grantee for the Permanent Supported Housing Program (PSH). The
purpose of the program is to provide permanent, safe housing to
chronically homeless, disabled individuals and families.
Services within this program include case management and
transportation assistance. Nortex utilizes a Homeless Management
Information System (HMIS) for single point access and avoidance
of service duplication.
HIV SERVICES
Nortex provides Ryan White/State
Services for HIV positive residents of Texas as well as HOPWA
(Housing Assistance for Persons with Aids). Services may include
oral health services, drug assistance, transportation
assistance, food pantry, drug and alcohol counseling, mental
health treatment and health insurance co-pay assistance. Crisis
Intervention Services through Helen Farabee Center are available
24 hours a day by calling 1-800-621-8504
