9-1-1 Database Maintenance

We work with the local counties on updating and managing the 9-1-1 database. The database provides 9-1-1 call takers the calling party's name, address and telephone number when they call 9-1-1.

The information is displayed on a computer screen in front of the call taker along with pertinent information about emergency responders for that particular address.

Future plans will include providing a map detailing a more exact location of the caller which could then be passed on to the emergency responders, law enforcement, fire or medical.
